    Description

    HR Hutschenreuther Hand Painted Dresden Style Floral & Dragonfly Dessert Plate
    Pretty porcelain scalloped edge dessert plate. Nicely decorated with hand painted Meissen / Dresden style flowers in pink, yellow, blue, purple and orange. Also has a small dragonfly and a small butterfly. Gold gilding along the edge. It is marked with a faint impressed monogram HR. I have not been able to find this exact manufacturer's mark, but it is probably an early Hutchenreuther mark as the HR monogram is identical to the HR monogram in Lorenz Hutschenreuther's early printed mark. There is no decorator's mark, but based on other pieces I have & have seen, it was probably decorated either by Fraureuth between 1865 and 1899 or by KPM Krister Porzellan between 1840 and 1895.
    Has quite a bit of wear to the gilding along the edge, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.
