The GENIE is the proven electrophoretic transfer apparatus incorporating plate electrodes for the ultimate in field uniformity. Its design allows for a very close positioning of the electrodes which, when coupled with a low voltage power supply, creates a high field in volts/cm. The result is rapid and quantitative electrophoretic transfer. With the GENIE, it is possible to obtain superb Western blots in 30 minutes at 24 volts. Size is not an issue, from micro RNA4 to 40 million Dalton mucin proteins. GENIE can blot any molecule. A 1.5 hour Northern blots Northern blot procedure was designed for the GENIE3. and one-hour Southern blots are possible without the messy soaking of gels in acid. Million bp DNA from CHEF gels can be blotted as an intact molecule. Scientists trust the GENIE for the most valuable samples
