    Description

JBL 125A Woofer: 10" Refoam Kit
Midwest Speaker is an authorized service center for JBL and we guarantee this kit to fit perfectly.
    This kit will fit the JBL 125A woofer used in L25, L26, L26A, L36, L36A, L40, L120 and L120A Speaker Cabinets
The 125A woofer has a concave (inverted) dust cap.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed
    to repair two (2) woofers:
    Refoaming Instructions
    2 Foam Surrounds (F10-3)
Shims for centering the 2" voice coils
    Two 4.124" Paper Dust Caps
1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims.  The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed.  JBL woofers have a very tight voice coil gap which leaves little room for error.  If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing. Also, be careful when cutting off the old dust cap, so you do not cut thru the cone.
    A – Outside diameter of the surround = 9.5″
    B – Roll ends = 9″
    C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 7.625″
    D – Inside diameter of the surround = 7.125″
