  • Condition: Very good antique condition with some minor signs of wear consistent with age. Light wear to some of the gilding and several pale marks on white portion of one plate which is not noticeable except on close inspection (see last picture at around 7-8:00 on white surface of plate - dull area is hard to see)

    Pair of Royal Bavarian 10-3/4" Hutschenreuther Selb Gilded Charger Cabinet Plates
    Two gorgeous charger or cabinet plates with very heavy and ornate gilding around outer rim and inner rim surfaces
    White centers with floral designs
    Royal Bavarian pattern produced in Germany from 1929-1939 based on research of back stamps
    Very good antique condition with some wear to gilding around edges. A few marks or manufacturing defects that do not detract from appearance or function. Please see last photos where I’ve tried to show closeups of any issues. In the last photo please note a dull area on the white surface of the plate at about 8:00 that may be a manufacturing defect - this is quite hard to see except in reflected light. Overall these plates are in superb condition considering their age. Beautiful displayed or used at an elegant table.
