    Mt. Evans, 14,260 ft above the sea. A fine oiled highway now leads to the top of Mt. Evans, making it the highest peak reached by auto. A wonderful series of panoramas and views, looking down to different lakes, is seen from this road. The card is in good condition, postmarked 1943, scratch, aging on the front and back, with wear on the corners.
