Hutschenreuther UNICORNS IN DREAMERS GARDEN 5 Plate SET "Unicorns In Dreamer's Garden " Complete 5 Plate Set! Designed by Charlotte and William Hallett, and made in 1982 by Hutschenreuther, Germany The Hutschenreuther family established the production of porcelain in Northern Bavaria, in 1814. Hutschenreuther enabled Germany to gain an excellent reputation in the European porcelain industry. From 1860, they produced hand painted gilded porcelains. The Hutschenreuther "Mark of the Lion" is a symbol of excellence in European porcelain. Beautiful, rich colors and 24K handpainted gilding grace these plates featuring unicorns in the following scenes: 1. The Sound of Melodies 3. The Smell of Roses 5. The Taste of Sweetness 7. The Sight of Wonders 9. The Touch of a Dream All plates are also photographed from the back to show all makers marks and descriptions. The plates depict the unicorn experiencing the delights of spring with all his 5 senses. All plates are heavily highlighted in 24K gold. On the back, is the name of each plate listed in English, German, and French, as well a the names and signatures of the designers, Charlotte and William Hallett.
